Founded more than three decades ago in 1993 in Western Australia, ahs hospitality was positioned back then as the country’s first hospitality outsourcing provider dedicated to the accommodation sector.
The company now employs more than 3500 people across Australia and New Zealand, servicing over eight million hotel rooms annually across several hotel brands.
It has taken its expertise in housekeeping solutions and extended that into commercial facility management services.
Earlier this year, the business evolved into ahs service group and included the launch of ahs Premier Facilities, delivering commercial cleaning and student accommodation services alongside its existing ahs hospitality division.
ahs says that its turnkey service at Premier Facilities means that all labour, equipment, technology, chemicals, consumables and uniforms are provided by the company itself.
Furthermore, its state-based support offices manage onboarding, training, WHS compliance, payroll and recruitment without subcontracting. The firm’s offices are located across Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Auckland.
“Clients today are looking for more than just a cleaning provider; they want a trusted partner who can consistently deliver quality, reliability and accountability,” ahs premier facilities managing director Leanne Graham says.
Some of the facilities that ahs will be targeting, to extend its commercial cleaning services, include aged care facilities, council and community centres, educational campuses and major events venues.
In April, the company said that it had retained its Platinum rating from EcoVadis – a rating that assesses a company’s ESG performance – placing it in the top one percent of companies assessed globally over the past 12 months.
