With advanced features that include an optimised inverter control and compact high efficiency heat exchanger, a new series of air-conditioners promise significant benefits for commercial and home use.
Introduced by Fujitsu General, the ‘J-II S’ models are the latest additions to its variable refrigerant airflow series called Airstage.
With a 25 percent reduction in height compared with previous models, the J-II S range can be discreetly installed on balconies and in courtyards, where minimal visibility is preferred.
The new range also has a specially designed DC twin rotary compressor, incorporating a high efficiency compressor motor and optimised refrigerant flow design. Fujitsu claims these enhancements deliver greater efficiency on all operating loads with significant improvements at part load operation.
Changes to the outdoor fan design – combined with a new aerodynamically designed airflow grille – increase the efficiency of the outdoor unit, reduce airflow loss and minimise the operating noise of the outdoor unit by up to -3dB.
Available in three capacity sizes, the outdoor units can be linked to multiple indoor units. (Outdoor units on the 14.0kW [kilowatt] and 15.1kW models can connect up to eight indoor units, while 12.1kW models can pair up to seven indoor units.) With 12 types of indoor units available, ranging in a wide capacity from 2.2kW to 14.0kW, there is a diverse selection of 53 models to choose from to suit a wide range of needs.
The new J-II S range also comes with a five-year parts and labour warranty for residential installations, and three-year parts and labour warranty for commercial applications.
