Queensland-headquartered Associated Cleaning Services (ACS) has launched its ACS Connect mobile platform to streamline processes for its teams operating at more than 500 client sites nationally.

The commercial cleaning provider says that the app gives its cleaning teams a direct digital connection to site operations, allowing them to log attendance, receive tasks and special requests, record completed work and provide updates to management as work is carried out.

The company says that the immediate benefits of the platform include a reduction on the reliance of the paper checklists and a better overview into the service delivery process.

For cleaners, the platform provides a single digital system for receiving instructions and site-specific requests, acting on those requests and recording work as completed.

For management, it provides a clearer view of activity across sites. As for clients, it creates greater visibility into the work being carried out on their behalf.

ACS Connect is being deployed across the company’s client sites in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

“For us, this is more than putting an app in the hands of our cleaners,” says ACS managing director Troy Cotterrell.

“It changes the way information flows through a cleaning operation. When you have teams working across more than 500 sites, having a consistent digital system for communicating tasks, recording activity and tracking completion can make a meaningful difference to how the service is managed.”

ACS provides commercial cleaning services across a wide range of industries – including offices, industrial and warehouse sites, medical, education and aged care facilities, among others.

Its scope of services extends beyond cleaning and into integrated facilities management and ranges from specialist cleaning, grounds maintenance and waste management to HVAC cleaning, pressure washing and pest control. ACS’s clients include the likes of Rio Tinto, JLL and Colliers.
