ATG has launched its latest 52-6745FI MaxiCut Ultra Impact Gloves, engineered for enhanced workplace safety.
The gloves can be used by professionals in high-cut and demanding environments such as construction, rigging, mining and stevedoring, among others.
The gloves, available in sizes 6 to 12, are ideal for workers exposed to sharp objects and back-of-hand impact risks.
“We understand that professionals require gloves that combine safety, comfort and performance,” Mayo Hardware product manager Jason Vandenberg said.
“With the 52-6745FI MaxiCut Ultra, ATG has designed a glove that meets the highest safety standards and enhances wearability, ensuring professionals can work more comfortably.”
Technology in the palm of your hand
The MaxiCut Ultra gloves integrate several ATG proprietary technologies.
These include CUTtech, which combines and blends high-performance yarns and fibres to deliver different levels of cut protection. There is special reinforcement between the thumb and forefinger, improving cut resistance and extending glove life in an inherently weak area. CUTtech reportedly delivers cut protection (EN 388:2016 + A1:2018 level F), while impact protection is rated P under the same standard and ANSI/ISEA 138 Level 2, shielding the back of the hand from impacts.
The company’s AD-APT technology is activated by the movement of your hands and increased temperature within the glove. This releases a natural cooling agent that keeps your hands dry and makes them cooler – reportedly up to 65 percent cooler compared to standard gloves. It is designed to last for the duration of the glove and can be laundered.
A related technology incorporated into this glove is AIRtech, which is a patented micro-foam coating that channels moisture and heat away from your skin to maintain an optimal hand temperature.
ERGOtech mimics the “hand at rest”, reducing hand fatigue and increasing comfort. Similarly, GRIPtech also helps decrease hand fatigue.
To ensure a longer overall life of the gloves, they are equipped with DURAtech, which facilitates what the company refers to as “above-average” abrasion resistance. Combined with preconditioned liners, the coating can be washed several times without degrading, raising the glove’s service life.
ATG said all its products are tested and accredited by dermatologists and doctors from the Skin Health Alliance. The products are washed prior to being packaged to remove production residues.
