The International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) has selected one of the University of Sydney’s Faculty of Architecture, Design and Planning’s master students, Bibiana Uzabeaga, as the Australian representative for an international facilities management project.
Uzabeaga, who is studying a Master of Design Science (Facilities Management) has been chosen to contribute Australian data to a project coordinated by EuroFM and IFMA Spain. The project, entitled Facilities Management International Profiles Definition Study, will look at the boundaries of the facilities management profession and attempt to provide clarity on how facilities management is practiced around the world. Uzabeaga will work alongside international contemporaries for three months, coordinating her research with a central team based in Madrid, Spain.
