CIM Enviro, Australia’s leading provider of advanced IoT building optimisation software, has announced Anton Mazkovoi as its new chief technology officer (CTO).
Mazkovoi will lead CIM Enviro’s 20-strong engineering team, driving the expansion of its groundbreaking machine learning ACE Platform.
“I love helping young companies grow, especially those that are developing ground-breaking, environmentally positive technology,” Mazkovoi says. “I have not seen any other software solution that has such a fundamental, positive impact on the environment, which is really important for me. The ACE Platform is already building its reputation as one of the smartest pieces of software in the IoT building sector. It’s a great time to join this talented team of engineers and lead the next phase of growth.”
Prior to joining CIM Enviro Mazkovoi was the first hire at Atlassian, where he served as vice president of Engineering. He created the pioneering JIRA platform, which is now the world’s number one software development tool used by agile teams.
Mazkovoi will play a crucial role in CIM Enviro’s leadership, and his priority is leveraging the powerful machine learning and data synthesis capabilities of the technology to transform asset management in the real estate sector.
“Having Anton join our team is a real coup,” says CEO David Walsh. “It is a true endorsement of the technology and the vision that we have for the future. The transformation that the ACE Platform is driving is extending beyond energy into maintenance and equipment performance. I am excited for what Anton will be able to create for our customers, and the standards of excellence he will bring to the CIM Enviro team.”
The insights that the ACE Platform provide not only vastly improve the energy performance of commercial buildings, it also affords property owners and equipment manufacturers unprecedented insight into what equipment is, and is not, being maintained correctly – saving them significantly on maintenance contracts.
“The ACE Platform is not just a game changer for energy reduction,” says Walsh. “What’s equally important for property owners is that it delivers an improved tenant experience which reduces vacancy rates and, from an operational cost perspective, extends the life of expensive equipment whilst reducing harmful CO2 emissions. The real estate market has been talking excitedly about the possibilities and opportunities that the industrial internet will bring to the sector, the ACE Platform is the first truly transformational cab off the rank.”
CIM Enviro is at the forefront of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) revolution. The ACE Platform drives down operational costs through predictive maintenance and remote management. This advanced fault detection software targets three challenging real estate expense line items – energy, maintenance and repairs and maintenance contracts. It delivers more out of existing systems and assets for less cost. Customers typically achieve markedly improved environmental performance ratings, an investment payback inside 12 months and cost reductions of up to 32 percent, with no additional capital expenditure.
