ARBSQLD

Following the inaugural ARBS Queensland (ARBSQLD) event last year, the heating, ventilation, cooling, refrigeration (HVAC&R) and building services trade exhibition is set to return next year.

It will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on 2-3 June 2027, with exhibitor bookings now open.

Attendees at ARBSQLD include people who design, supply, install and maintain the systems that heat, cool and ventilate buildings, from air-conditioning and refrigeration through to controls, ductwork, plumbing and building automation.

For the 2027 program, exhibitors will be able to run pre-booked 20-minute training sessions on their own stands, while the Tech Talks program will return, alongside a leadership summit and site tours.

The ARBSQLD Leadership Summit will run on 1-2 June and will bring together senior leaders from across the HVAC&R and building services sector. The program combines keynote presentations, interactive roundtables, leadership discussions and networking opportunities.

“Workforce and skills shortages are consistently rated the number one challenge facing the industry nationally. Queensland has a huge construction pipeline and an estimated 40,000 workforce shortfall,” says ARBS CEO Amanda Searle.

“Queensland has its own market, its own projects and its own contractors. ARBSQLD brings the supply chain to them. For most people who came in 2025, it was the first time they’d been able to attend an ARBS. Queensland is too important not to have a dedicated HVAC&R event.”

ARBSQLD 2025 marked the first time that ARBS, Australia’s largest HVAC&R trade exhibition, expanded into Queensland following 25 years of being held in Sydney and Melbourne.

Data shared by ARBS indicates that ARBSQLD 2025 included 120 exhibitors and recorded 4862 leads and connections, with 76 percent of visitors being buyers or those who influenced the buying decision.

While over 90 brands have already signed up for the Brisbane event, free visitor registration will open closer to the event.
