As part of its ongoing technology transformation initiative in Australia and New Zealand, real estate and services firm CBRE has awarded property operations platform provider Facilio a facility management software contract.
Facilio will deliver an asset management system that supports the full asset lifecycle, enabling CBRE to offer customers enhanced property life-cycle cost insights.
Facilio expanded into the Australian market in 2023 in response to high demand for its smart building solutions.
The group’s AI-driven property operations platform allows real estate owners and managers to aggregate building data, optimise performance and control portfolio operations.

CBRE says that shortlisted vendors were evaluated through targeted demonstrations designed to test usability, flexibility and suitability.

CBRE’s Property Management executive managing director for the Pacific Natalie Slessor notes that the latest agreement with Facilio was a major milestone towards the company reimagining how they deliver facilities services. “The selection of Facilio reflects our commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive performance, compliance, and client satisfaction,” Slessor says.
The partnership with Facilio is the third FM partnership forged by CBRE in the past 12 months, following the appointment of Rapid Global to provide contractor management services and Unimarket company Vendor Panel to enhance CBRE’s capabilities in RFP/RFQ management.
“These platforms have significantly improved how we source, contract, onboard, and manage our contractor base, offering superior visibility and oversight of compliance and performance across our service delivery model,” Harrison says.
