A new BEG two-channel passive infrared and audio sensor designed to switch on and off both lights and exhaust fans in commercial and public washrooms has been released.
iAutomation’s newly released BEG two-channel passive infrared (PIR) and audio sensor is designed to switch on and off both lights and exhaust fans in commercial and public toilets/washrooms. Suited to lighting control in areas where a person may not be seen, but can be heard – for example, washroom cubicles – the BEG PD3-2C-FC-MIC audio/PIR sensor hears people when they are out of sight of the sensor. This is in contrast to traditional PIR sensors, which cannot simultaneously look into such environments. The product’s two channel PD3 keeps both lights and fans operating simultaneously while out of view.
