The free Facility Management magazine is out today on digital stands. The Future-focused Facilities Issue is the proactive FM’s guide to the built world.

Facilities managers are busy people, juggling multiple responsibilities and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations inside all of their buildings. Sometimes this can leave little opportunity to plan for the future of their facilities.

With the fourth issue of our digital magazine, we wanted to offer readers a moment to themselves to consider what lies ahead from different angles: technology, sustainability, security, design and more. We’ve called on experts from their respective fields to help us break down the big picture.

What’s inside the Future-focused Facilities Issue:

  • Parking Australia’s president shares tips to get your building ready for the incoming wave of electric vehicles.
  • Honeywell’s head of cybersecurity sheds light on the evolving operational technology cyber threat landscape.
  • Two FMs weigh in on whether predictive maintenance is the future.
  • We take a tour of co-able, a health and wellness hub in Port Adelaide that sets a high standard for accessible fitouts.
  • Victoria Bardsen, a facilities manager from Knight Frank in Melbourne, gets the spotlight in this special edition of FM’s ‘How I Got Here’ series.
  • We ask an expert from RMIT about the ethics of using facial recognition and other biometric technologies in security systems.
  • The global managing director of Hatch Urban Solutions discusses the challenges currently facing our CBDs.
  • Franke Coffee Systems CEO talks about the importance of good coffee in the workplace.
  • We look at what’s on at the ISSA Cleaning and Hygiene Expo in November, as well as other events coming up on the FM calendar.

All of this and more – including the latest news and products for FMs – is inside the ‘Future-focused Facilities Issue’.
