Legrand has unveiled a new generation of wiring devices under the brand name of INSPYRA, which it says is designed for commercial and residential spaces.
The company notes that the collection has been engineered with installer efficiency as a primary focus.
The design features that simplify and speed up installation include integrated screw caps and an assembled plate and dolly system that deliver a cleaner finish.
Other installer-focused features include pre-mounted screws, aligned terminals and an easy unclipping switch mechanism that also supports servicing and maintenance later during its life cycle.
“INSPYRA’s design and value deliver a consistent solution across a wide range of projects, budgets and customer needs, enabling everyday Australians to transform their living and working spaces with creativity, confidence and ease,” says Legrand‘s chief executive officer for Australia and New Zealand, Palash Nandy.
The collection is manufactured using 80 percent recycled plastic and supported by fully digitised technical documentation.
Legrand says that the collection represents Australia’s first paper-based packaging solution for this category, eliminating single-use plastic packaging across the entire range.
In a bid to support local manufacturing, more than 60 percent of the collection is produced in south-western Sydney. The company adds that its local manufacturing is now powered by 100 percent renewable energy.
Among its other products geared towards commercial facilities, Legrand recently unveiled its emergency lighting range called Integrated Satellite. It features a single-body design that combines the head and electronics into one unit.
Available in recessed and surface-mount options, the fitting suits a standard 76-millimetre ceiling cutout and requires only one hole drill and plug-in connection.
