IDEMIA and Honeywell

Honeywell and IDEMIA, a leader in augmented identity, have developed an intelligent building ecosystem, aiming to provide a more seamless and enhanced experience for operators and occupants.

Honeywell’s security and building management systems will be integrated with IDEMIA’s biometric-based access control systems to create frictionless, safer and more efficient buildings.

The intent is for occupants to have easy, secure and contactless engagement with a building, from vehicle recognition in car parks to automatic elevator calls, biometric-based access and personalised conference room settings.

IDEMIA products included in the integration will be MorphoWave, a contactless fingerprint device, VisionPass facial recognition terminals and Augmented Vision, the biometric video analytics platform.

Honeywell systems include the Pro-Watch Integrated Security Suite, MAXPRO Cloud and Enterprise Buildings Integrator.

The integrated offering aims to allow building operators to respond rapidly to alarms or incidents by providing an incident workflow package that allows Standard Operating Procedures to be configured, reducing compliance exceptions, security risks and response times.

IDEMIA products also support Honeywell’s Healthy Buildings solutions that help building owners improve building environments, operate more cleanly and safely, and encourage sustained compliance with changing building standards, safety guidelines, government-issued regulations and a company’s risk management policies.
