The show was scheduled to run on Tuesday 7 September and Wednesday 8 September this year, but has been called off due to New South Wales’ ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.
New dates for the Workplace Health and Safety Show, Sydney, are 20 and 21 September 2022.
Its organiser, International Exhibition and Conference Group, has closely monitored the impact of this most recent outbreak. It decided to reschedule due to “the ongoing uncertainty of border closures and lockdowns by various state governments,” says a press release.
“After speaking with with our exhibitors, who share our disappointment,” says Marie Kinsella, the Group’s CEO. “We are buoyed by their excitement and eagerness to take part in the rescheduled event in Sydney 2022.
The biggest health and safety shows in the Australia Pacific region will now be held next year at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 25 and 26 May, and the Sydney Showgrounds on 20 and 21 September 2022.
