You can now steam clean green
TM Hot Wash is a dynamic new business venture set up by entrepreneur Teague McMaster and offers high pressure cleaning services that are both efficient and environmentally friendly without the use of chemicals.
The foundation of the TM Hot Wash service is a large Aussie Hydrotek 4000psi engine-powered steam cleaner. Using this impressive hot water machine means cleaning can be completed faster, with less water and with minimal disruption to the client.
“The machine runs like a dream,” McMaster says. “The drain cleaning attachment has been going well and I have a good number of jobs booked in for September and spring.”
The big Hydrotek produces up to 130-degrees Celsius steam, enabling it to move oil stains fast and without the use of detergents. Steam melts grease, allowing it to be flushed away by the machine’s high performance pressure and flow combination.
Dialling up the required steam temperature is easy and provides an infinitely variable range, from cold water right through to 130 degrees Celsius. Some jobs, including graffiti removal or household paint stripping, just use hot water to complete the task while others, depending on the complexity of the task, use the maximum steam temperature.
This technology makes light work of many tasks for its advantage of high water pressure, real impact and portable stream, all incorporated in the one machine. The Hydrotek machine produces an impressive 4000psi pump pressure and an effective working pressure (EWP), with the Aussie Turbomaster turbo lance, of 6400psi. Additionally, it has a flow rate of 21 litres per minute, providing real velocity to any cleaning task.
“The Aussie Hydrotek is an absolute winner,” McMaster says. “It always pays to invest in the best gear to give customers the very best result.”
TM Hot Wash offers personalised, professional service for a wide range of cleaning services. “Using the best and latest products to provide better results for my customers is key,” he says.
McMaster started the business with just a trailer-mounted Hydrotek, but has since added a mini reel for drain cleaning. The equipment was sources from local Aussie Pumps distributor Delatite Pumps. McMaster chose the Hydrotek for its mobility, power and versatility.
