New dispensers can reduce toilet paper consumption for facilities
Tork, a leading global personal care and hygiene company, has developed a new toilet paper dispensing system that can reduce consumption by up to 40 percent. The maintenance and restocking of bathroom facilities can cost buildings and their managers an excessive amount, and so this innovation from Tork is an important development for FMs.
Tork SmartOne toilet paper dispensers have a unique centre-pull system and their characteristic round design is known to toilet visitors, cleaners and facility managers across the globe.
Now the ‘wave’ design, launched in 2014, has been redesigned to coordinate with the extensive Tork Elevation range. The next generation of Tork SmartOne is slimmer than previous versions, but its capacity and durability makes it suitable for demanding washroom environments with medium to high traffic.
“Throughout the development process the system has been put under extreme pressure to make sure it can cope in the most demanding environments. In fact, we have used industrial robots to dispense two million toilet paper sheets to ensure smooth dispensing”, explains Sid Takla, executive general manager of Tork professional hygiene products.
But the biggest benefit, according to Tork, is that SmartOne dispensers cleverly reduce consumption by up to 40 percent when compared to a standard 2 ply jumbo toilet roll, thanks to the unique, one sheet at a time dispensing. In a large facility, that can really add up.
Refills are cleverly packed in easy-to-handle carry packs that make carrying, storing and disposal quicker and easier.
Available in black or white, and part of the fully coordinated, award-winning Tork Elevation dispenser range, Tork SmartOne is a very smart choice.
