A new wireless headset for distribution centres and warehouses that enhances the operational efficiency of workers with improved voice recognition performance has been unveiled.
Vocollect has unveiled the SRX2, a new wireless headset for Australian distribution centres (DCs) and warehouses that enhances the operational efficiency of workers with improved voice recognition performance.
Vocollect’s SoundSense technology continuously listens to and blocks environmental sounds in a DC or warehouse, enabling the SRX2 to provide a 50 percent reduction in ambient noise in comparison to other distribution environment headsets. With better recognition, workers achieve higher accuracy, fewer errors and improved productivity.
The highly ruggedised, yet compact SRX2 wireless headset is designed to work in a diverse range of environments, including coolers, high noise and fast-moving piece-picking environments. The SRX2 provides optimal recognition and response in freezer environments with temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius. The SRX2’s batteries are designed to last two shifts in dry environments and one full shift in freezer environments.
