A facilities management software survey aimed at assisting to build a more precise picture of the use of software in facilities management in Australia has been launched by Service Works Global in partnership with the Facility Management Association of Australia.

The facilities management software survey that Service Works Global run in the UK earlier this year has been launched by the company in Australia in partnership with the Facility Management Association of Australia (FMA Australia). This new initiative will help the Australian facilities management industry to build a more complete and accurate picture of the use of software in facilities management in Australia, and allow the comparison of experiences in the UK and Australian market.
The survey, which should take respondents 10 minutes to complete, covers respondent profile, the type of software tool used, what it’s used for, terminology, implementation, benefits and links to other systems.
In the most recent UK survey more than 80 percent of respondents stated that their facilities management software system had saved them money, with 91 percent agreeing that it also made the facilities management service more efficient. Almost 80 percent of respondents confirmed that facilities management software allowed them to better identify staff workload, while 90 percent said it gave them better quality data and provided better auditability.
