A new laminate has been released to provide solutions for environments requiring resistance to the harshest of chemicals.
Called Chemsurf, and developed by US laminate manufacturer Wilsonart, the new product is available as a postforming grade laminate and compact laminate.
It’s suitable for highly corrosive environments, so specific applications may include laboratory bench tops, fascia panels in laboratory furniture, hospital or health facility countertops and photographic processing areas, through to nail salons.
Both products can be applied to horizontal and vertical applications; however, due to the extra thickness and strength of the Chemsurf compact laminate, it does not require a substrate.
Available in 10 colours, Chemsurf laminate is ideal for applications where it is desirable to roll the laminate on a simple radius over the substrate to eliminate seams, which are otherwise vulnerable to chemicals. Chemsurf compact laminate is available in a choice of three thicknesses and three colours.
